(2018 – Episode 4) Because the city of Seattle is no longer prosecuting minor marijuana crime, it’s taken the extra step of going back to the mid 1990’s and clearing the records of those arrested for these types of infractions.
In this Newsbuds edition of Northwest Cannacast, we explore what the city says it’s trying to accomplish by doing this VERSUS the reality of what it truly means to make amends for the so-called “War on Drugs.” It’s an interesting conversation about cannabis, race, and police relations, followed by a solid listener question about the need for pot smokers to be good ambassadors on cannabis.
