(2019) With more than 30 states having some form of legal cannabis on the books, there’s more pressure on lawmakers at the federal level to loosen the rules…especially when it comes to the millions of dollars in cash some businesses keep on hand because they can’t find a bank to do business with.
On this episode of Northwest Cannacast, our panel talks about the newest attempt at something called the “States Act,” which would not legalize marijuana, but would direct the federal government to leave states, banks, and other businesses alone when it comes to legal cannabis. We also examine one state’s efforts to relax cannabis rules at school. The idea isn’t to give kids pot, but to allow for CBD-based medication to be used on campus.
